Well, another year of VeganMoFo has come and gone. It always feels so daunting at the beginning, trying to figure out what to blog about for 20 days and then, before you know it, it’s over.
This was my 3rd year participating in VeganMoFo. My first year I had the theme “VeganMoFo and the ABCs of Vegan Food.” That was fun, especially when it came to letters like “X.” The next year my theme was “If TV Cooking Celebrities Went Vegan.” I enjoyed that one too, especially since I watch cooking shows on TV all the time.
This year I didn’t really have a theme. I just posted lots of new recipes. However, I did premiere the “Ask Dr. V” series which answered a few common questions and also highlighted dozens of delicious recipes. I’m still not sure how that series went over and whether it’s worth continuing or not but I enjoyed it.
Next year VeganMoFo will happen in August. Better start thinking of themes that will work with the hot weather – I’m thinking lots of salads. In the meantime, check out all the recipes The “V” Word has posted this year and the 2 years before that. Three VeganMoFos means over 60 recipes!!
