And if any products inspire new recipes, Voy a compartir eso también!

Today that is definitely the case as today’s product, Más allá de la carne, inspires tons of recipes. I have been a fan of Beyond Meat’s Chicken-Free Strips since they first came onto the market. De hecho, Hice un revisión of them last summer and made some incredible dishes.

En esa revisión, I shared the recipe for my Más allá de la carne de Satay de pollo libres con Peanut Salsa.

Eran increíbles. To quote that post, “OMG!! I believe Tom said it was “amazing” and maybe something about my “outdoing” myself.”

Since then I have made many dishes with Beyond Meat’s Chicken-Free Strips. Después de todo, chicken was the food I thought I couldn’t live without and Beyond Meat makes it so easy to do just that.

I made this Orange “Pollo” con calabacín Noodles with Beyond Meat

and then this Agridulce “Pollo”

and this “Pollo” and Broccoli with Cashews in a Pear-Mango-Pineapple Sauce

You get the idea. If I want to make a “pollo” plato, I either use tofu or Beyond Meat Chicken-Free Strips. While I am anxiously awaiting the release of Beyond Meat’s burgers (sí, they are coming out with burgers!), I thought I would share yet another “pollo” recipe made with Beyond Meat Chicken-Free Strips.

This one is my Caribe Citrus “Pollo” that I serve with my Arroz y guisantes de Jamaica.

rice and peas (1)

Beyond Meat Chicken-Free Strips are marinated in fresh orange and lime juice, tamari, aceite de oliva, salsa picante, ajo, jengibre, orégano, thyme and allspice. Then the “pollo” is cooked in coconut oil until it’s browned and crispy. It’s amazing!

I know this is one of my favorite dishes because I make it over and over again. And in the sad, unfortunate case when I don’t have any Beyond Meat in the fridge (GASP!), I make it with tofu. It can also be made with tempeh or seitan. But if you can have it with Beyond Meat, por qué no usted?
